WWE Superstars often get written off from television when they end up getting injured. According to a new report, a popular star is expected to return soon to the promotion.

Last year, Wendy Choo competed in a tag team match on an episode of NXT and went on hiatus. The 32-year-old star has made no appearances for the white & gold brand after she was involved in a parking lot segment and written off television as she was dealing with an undisclosed injury.

According to reports from Fightful Select, the star was at the WWE Performance Center. The report also stated that sources were hopeful of a return soon. The star has been out of action for a while, and it will be interesting to see what she does on the developmental brand after she returns.

Three WWE Superstars from NXT received their main roster call-up during SmackDown

NXT played a major role during the ongoing WWE Draft 2024, as superstars from the developmental brand had made their intentions clear after WrestleMania XL and Stand & Deliver.

Friday Night SmackDown kicked off the two-night event, and a few superstars found new homes before the end of the night. One of the biggest picks from the event was NXT's Carmelo Hayes.

He joined the blue brand and lost to Cody Rhodes in the main event of the show. Later, Kiana James also received her call-up, and she's heading to Monday Night RAW in the coming days.

After working with the white & gold brand for a year, NXT's Baron Corbin also moved to the main roster and joined Friday Night SmackDown. It will be interesting to see which other stars might receive their main roster call-ups on Monday night RAW as the draft continues.
