Como and Parma return to action in Serie A when they go head-to-head at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia on Saturday. This will be the first meeting between the sides since gaining promotion from the Serie B last term and they will be looking to secure the bragging rights.
Como were sent back down to earth in their last outing before the international break as they fell to a 3-1 defeat against Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Before that, Cesc Fabregas’ men were on a run of two back-to-back victories, seeing off Atalanta 3-2 at the Gewiss Stadium on September 24, five days before claiming a 3-2 home win over Hellas Verona.
Como will be backing themselves to bounce back this weekend as they return to the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia.
Elsewhere, Parma continue to struggle for results in the big leagues as they played out a goalless draw with Bologna at the Estadio Renato Dall'Ara last time out.
Fabio Pecchia’s men have gone five straight games without a win, losing three and claiming two draws since a shock 2-1 victory over AC Milan on August 24.
With six points from seven matches, Parma are currently 16th in the Serie A standings, two points and two places below Saturday’s hosts.
Como were outclassed by a star-studded Napoli side last time out but will fancy themselves against Parma, who have picked up just one win in all competitions this season.
Fabregas’ men have been rock-sold at home this year and we are backing them to return to winning ways this weekend.
Prediction: Como 2-1 Parma
Tip 1: Result - Como to win
Tip 2: Over 2.5 goals - Yes (There have been three or more goals scored in four of Como’s last five games)
