Real Madrid fans on X have blasted Aurelien Tchouameni after he struggled to make an impact during their 5-2 loss against Barcelona. La Blaugrana lifted the Supercopa de Espana after winning the final at the King Abdullah Sports City stadium on Sunday, January 12.

Kylian Mbappe made a great run and found the bottom corner to give Real Madrid the lead in the fifth minute. However, Lamine Yamal did well to cut inside ahead of Tchouameni and score to level the scores 17 minutes later. This opened the floodgates for Barcelona, as Robert Lewandowski converted his penalty (36') and Raphinha headed home (39') to make it 3-1.

Alex Balde netted following a counter-attack in the 10th minute of first-half stoppage time to hand La Blaugrana a 4-1 lead going into the break. Real Madrid's woes continued in the 48th minute when Raphinha outpaced Tchouameni and finished well past a helpless Thibaut Courtois to complete his brace.

Wojciech Szczesny was sent off soon after for a poor challenge on Mbappe outside the box. Rodrygo brilliantly converted his free-kick in the 60th minute, but Barcelona defended well to hold their lead, despite being a man down.

Tchouameni, who played the game at centre-back, struggled defensively and was subbed off in the 64th minute after receiving a yellow card. The 24-year-old made zero tackles, was dribbled past thrice, and lost four duels.

One Real Madrid fan posted:

"Even saudi won't take Tchouameni, ship this bum to Indian or Nigerian league."

Another fan tweeted:

"I was so wrong about Tchouameni, this guy is one of the worst footballers I’ve ever seen."

Other fans reacted below:

"Is Tchouameni the Biggest FLOP of all time?" one fan questioned
"Tchouameni has to be by far the worst highly rated defensive player I’ve ever seen. Slow, clumsy, no positional awareness, he shouldn’t even be worth 30M," another added
"Just looking at Tchouameni is pissing me off," one fan admitted
"I don't care how many of you like Tchouaméni because of his instgram posts or because he plays piano. He just isn't good enough to play for Real Madrid every week. This has nothing to do with him playing out of position also, it was the same story when he was at CDM," another tweeted
