"Every previous manager has had issues with Marcus Rashford" - Journalist makes big claim about exit-linked Manchester United star

Manchester United journalist Andy Mitten has said that Marcus Rashford has had issues with previous club managers following the player falling out with new boss Ruben Amorim.

It all started when the Portuguese tactician omitted Rashford from United's squad against Manchester City a few weeks ago at the Etihad. Amorim, though, later said that his decision to drop Rashord was following his evaluation of the player's performance in training.

The news came as a surprise to many, but it wasn't the first time that Rashord was dropped by a United manager. Former Red Devils coach Erik ten Hag had also dropped the Englishman ahead of a game against Wolves last year after Rashford had came late for a team meeting.

Meanwhile, Manchester United journalist Mitten has said that most club managers have had issues with the 27-year-old forward:

"I do think that the manager has had a big say here. I think he is doing it his way. He's a smiling assassin. He's a disciplinarian. Every previous manager has had issues with Marcus Rashford.
"I’ve spoken to them, I know them. They’ve told me in confidence going back years and years and years. And then, Marcus confounds those opinions because he has a really good season.

He added:

"From his perspective - and he does have a perspective here - there's not a lot of support for him I've got to say among Manchester United fans. They played at Wolves a couple of days ago, it was thoroughly miserable there, but if I go back to Wolves at the start of February, I was outside that away end and couldn't find a single Manchester United fan that wanted him to stay.
"When he scored after three or four minutes, those very same fans were singing Marcus Rashford's name. Marcus Rashford is not celebrated by United fans as he was. His stock is clearly very, very low."

Rashford has seven goals and three assists in 24 appearances across competitions for United this season.

"I'm ready for a new challenge" - Marcus Rashford after being axed by Manchester United boss

Marcus Rashford is reportedly bracing himself up for a potential move away from United after falling out with new manager Amorim.

Rashford was last named in United's match-day squad against FC Viktoria Plzen in the UEFA Europa League. He has since been left out of the squad for the last four games across competitions.

There are speculations that the Red Devils could put up Rashford for sale during the January transfer window. The player himself, during an interview with Henry Winter, revealed that he's open to a new challange (via GOAL):

"For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps. When I leave, it's going to be 'no hard feelings. If I know that a situation is already bad, I'm not going to make it worse.
"I've seen how other players have left in the past, and I don't want to be that person. When I leave, I'll make a statement, and it will be from me."

Rashford broke into the Manchester United first team in 2015 under Luis van Gaal. He has since gone on to score 138 times in 426 appearances for the Red Devils.
