Inter Miami star Luis Suarez recently spoke about Neymar Jr. joining him and Lionel Messi at the club in the future. The trio played together at Barcelona between 2014 and 2017, forming one of the greatest attacking trios in football.

Neymar Jr. joined Lionel Messi at Barcelona in 2013 from Santos while Luis Suarez signed for the club a year later from Liverpool. Their trio, popularly known as MSN (Messi, Suarez, Neymar) became key to the Catalans winning the treble in 2014-15 under coach Luis Enrique's guidance.

In 2017, the Brazilian superstar left Barca to join Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for a record €222 million fee, marking the end of the MSN era. Suarez eventually left the Catalan outfit in 2020, with Messi following suit in 2021.

Neymar Jr. is currently with the Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, with his contract set to expire in June 2025. The Brazilian has been heavily linked to a move to Inter Miami to reunite with his former teammates.

In an interview with FOX Deportes, Luis Suarez addressed the transfer rumors and said (translated from Spanish via Google Translate):

"Well obviously in football, you never know what can happen. There are always surprises, it creates excitement, it sparks a debate but raises expectations. We obviously know the excitement he [Neymar] brings to the football world. Having him as a teammate would be incredible. What happens next is a different story, but it would be nice because besides being friends off the field, we had fun on it."

Neymar's stint in Saudi Arabia has been far from successful as the Selecao superstar spent most of his time outside the pitch owing to an ACL injury. The Brazilian has recorded only seven appearances for Al-Hilal with one goal and three assists across competitions.

A move to Inter Miami could be viable as they sold attacker Leonardo Campana to New England Revolution in December. Campana's departure enables Inter Miami to sign another international player for 2025 and 2026.

In an interview with CNN Sport (h/t GOAL), Neymar Jr. opened up about the possibility of reuniting with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at Inter Miami.

"Obviously, playing again with Messi and Suarez would be incredible. They are my friends. We still speak to each other. It would be interesting to revive this trio. I’m happy at Al-Hilal, I’m happy in Saudi Arabia, but who knows. Football is full of surprises," the Brazilian said.

After their stint together at Barcelona, Neymar and Lionel Messi have played together at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) between 2021 and 2023. The duo have recorded 67 joint-goal participations in 206 outings together for both clubs.

Neymar Jr. notably shares the highest number of joint-goal contributions with the Lionel Messi. Meanwhile, he has recorded 40 joint-goal participations in 124 outings together with Luis Suarez, all of which were for Barcelona.
