Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has accepted that French forward Kylian Mbappe is going through a difficult run of form. However, he affirmed that it's not a problem, as it's common among attackers.

The Frenchman joined Los Blancos from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) earlier this year on a free transfer. Since joining Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappe has made 16 appearances across competitions, bagging eight goals and two assists. However, Mbappe has failed to meet the expectations at Santiago Bernabeu.

In Madrid's last four La Liga matches, the Frenchman has scored only two goals. Meanwhile, Los Blancos have lost two of their four UEFA Champions League matches, where Mbappe has only two goal contributions (one goal and an assist each).

At a press conference ahead of Real Madrid's LaLiga clash against Leganes, Carlo Ancelotti talked about Mbappe's recent performance. The Italian tactician lauded the 25-year-old and stated that he's motivated to perform better in their next match, saying (via MadridXtra):

"Kylian Mbappe? His bad streak has happened to all the great forwards but this is not Mbappe's case. I see him happy, motivated, motivated, convinced he will have a great game tomorrow. His qualities are extraordinary."

Ancelotti also dismissed the questions regarding the Frenchman having mental health issues, adding:

"Kylian Mbappe has mental problems? What a question. I see him happy. You speculating about this... This is very ugly."

After facing Leganes, the LaLiga giants will face Arne Slot's Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, November 27. The Reds are currently on a 13-match unbeaten streak across competitions.

Real Madrid to sell 25-year-old star in the summer transfer window: Reports

Fran Garcia will reportedly leave Real Madrid next summer if Alphonso Davies arrives at Santiago Bernabeu on a free transfer, as per Cadena SER (via Estadio Deportivo). Los Blancos aim to secure the services of Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold and Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies in the next summer transfer window.

Both players are yet to sign a contract extension with their respective clubs, as their ongoing deals will expire in 2025. As per the aforementioned report, Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia are expected to leave the side next summer.

However, if Davies decides to stay at Bayern, the LaLiga giants will offer a contract extension to Mendy. Since rejoining the side from Rayo Vallecano in the summer of 2023, Garcia has struggled to establish himself as a starter. The 25-year-old has made nine appearances for Real Madrid this season.
