Arsenal have reportedly joined fellow Premier League clubs Chelsea and Manchester United in the race for Spanish forward Yeremay Hernandez. The 22-year-old plays for LaLiga 2 side Deportivo de La Coruna, where he has flourished this season, scoring seven goals and providing three assists in 17 league games.

According to a report from Spanish outlet La Opinion De A Coruna (via The Hard Tackle), his performances have piqued the interest of bigger clubs. Deportivo are not particularly interested in selling him this January, as his quality on the pitch is crucial for the club. However, they would be willing to accept an offer that matches his release clause of €20 million.

This fee would not be burdensome on Premier League clubs. However, a major concern could be that despite Yeremay Hernandez's potential, he has not played a match in top-flight football. Deportivo de La Coruna have spent recent years in the second tier of Spanish football.

Arsenal are on the hunt for talent, particularly in forward positions, as they look to compete for the Premier League title. For Chelsea, the transfer policy is focused on youngsters who can go on to shine in the first team, making Hernandez a potential option for the Blues. Manchester United could see Marcus Rashford leave the club, and could turn to Hernandez as a possible replacement.

Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea all chase deals in January transfer window - Reports

With the January transfer window now open, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea are all expected to turn towards the transfer market (via Football Transfers). For the Blues, the situation around signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli seems to be not working. According to reports, they do not plan to sign the Nigeria international but remain on the hunt for a forward.

Also in London, the Gunners have reportedly had their sights set on Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams, Football Transfers claimed. Their focus on the 22-year-old has been strong, with the club even setting aside the funds required to meet his €58 million release clause. However, they will have a difficult task of matching his salary demands, with Williams reportedly expecting £300,000 in wages.

In Manchester, exits could be in the works this January. Marcus Rashford has openly spoken about wanting a new challenge, and if the club receive a suitable offer for the winger, they could let him leave. However, he is not the only player nearing an exit, with Casemiro being courted by Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr (via Footbaall Transfers).
