Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee has instructed his agents to find him a new club, according to Italian outlets La Stampa and Calciomercato.it (via Sport Witness). The 23-year-old only joined the Red Devils this summer, in a €42.5 million move from Bologna.

Zirkzee has struggled at the start of his life at Old Trafford. He notably scored on his Premier League debut against Fulham in a 1-0 victory. Since then, though, he has been unable to find the net, with just one goal and one assist in a total of 17 games this season.

He was also handed a bit-part role by Erik ten Hag, who had signed him. Zirkzee only started four Premier League games, with his other seven appearances coming off the bench. Ten Hag was sacked in October and Ruben Amorim has since taken over the reins at Manchester United as the new head coach. However, Zirkzee does not see his situation as likely to change.

According to the aforementioned report, the Dutch forward is unhappy about his playing time at Old Trafford. He has spoken with his agents, asking them to find a new club for him, and it seems as though a move to Juventus could be in the works.

The report claims that the Italian giants could look to sign a new striker in the upcoming winter transfer window. Their main options in front, Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik are out of contention due to respective injuries. To Zirkzee's benefit, he has previously played under Juventus manager Thiago Motta at Bologna last season.

Zirkzee may look forward to a reunion with Motta, under who he scored 12 goals and provided seven assists in 37 games last term.

Ruben Amorim intent on a move for former Manchester United star - Reports

Manchester United's new head coach Ruben Amorim wants to make a move for former club midfielder Angel Gomes, according to the Sun (via talkSPORT). The 24-year-old broke into the first team at Old Trafford back in the 2016-17 season. However, after making 10 appearances across four seasons for the senior team, he was released.

The midfielder joined Lille, where he has blossomed, making 129 appearances in the last four years. Now, a return to the Red Devils could be on the cards for Angel Gomes, if reports are to be believed.

His contract with the French giants is set to expire in the summer of 2025, which could see him return to Manchester United on a free transfer. Ruben Amorim is interested in Gomes as a long-term option for aging midfielder Casemiro.
