Bournemouth are reportedly ahead of other English clubs in the race to sign Liverpool loanee Ben Doak. The 19-year-old winger is currently on loan at Middlesbrough till the end of the 2024/25 season, but his performances have caught the eye of several sides.

According to a report from Alan Nixon, the Cherries have surpassed Crystal Palace in the pursuit of the attacker (via Dave Ockop). However, these teams will also face competition from Ipswich Town, who have had their bid rejected for the player.

That being said, the Eagles may have cooled their interest and turned to securing another alternative, such as Millwall's Romain Esse. For Bournemouth, Doak's signature is of vital importance, with the club expecting Antoine Semenyo to be on his way out in the current transfer window.

As for the Scotland international, a permanent move to any Premier League club could serve him well, given the limited minutes he'll see at Anfield. If Mohamed Salah remains in Merseyside, Doak will not see much game time on the right wing under Arne Slot.

Meanwhile, there is a serious amount of competition on the opposite flank. The likes of Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz are currently battling each other for a starting spot, while Diogo Jota can play out there as well.

Overall, Doak has made 21 appearances in the Championship this campaign, bagging two goals and six assists. For Liverpool, the winger has featured 10 times for the senior team, but has yet to register his first goal contribution.

Liverpool winger could be moving back to Serie A, amid interest from multiple clubs- Reports

Federico Chiesa
Federico Chiesa

Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa has found life difficult since moving to Anfield last summer from Juventus for a reported fee of €12 million. Injuries have seriously impacted his game time, with the attacker having missed 15 matches across competitions due to a muscle problem.

Despite returning to action, the Italy international is clearly not among Arne Slot's first picks in the team. The lack of minutes has seemingly caused reports to suggest that Chiesa could be headed back to his home country.

Both Milan clubs, along with Napoli, are said to be interested in a move for Chiesa, as per a report from Gazzetta dello Sport. Since joining Liverpool, the 27-year-old winger has featured just five times for the Reds, bagging a goal and an assist each. He's contracted with the Merseyside outfit till 2028.
