Barcelona are reportedly ready to sell attacker Ferran Torres for €25 million. The Spaniard had arrived at the Camp Nou in January 2022 but has struggled for consistency.

The 24-year-old has 26 goals and 15 assists in 123 games across competitions for Barca. That includes a goal and two assists in 10 outings across competitions this season under new boss Hansi Flick. All three goal contributions have come in eight outings in La Liga, where Barca lead second-placed Real Madrid (21) by three points after nine rounds of games.

Torres is contracted to the Camp Nou till 2026, but as per Fichajes.net (via Barca Universal), the Blaugrana are willing to let him go for the aforementioned amount next summer.

It's pertinent to note that the Spaniard is currently out injured due to a thigh injury sustained after six minutes during the 3-0 league win at Alaves just before the ongoing international break. A club statement said (as per Barca Universal):

“Tests carried out on the first-team player Ferran Torres confirm that he has an injury to the biceps femoris muscle in his right thigh. His return to training will be dependent on his recovery.”

As per RAC1 (as per Barca Universal), Torres is expected to be out of action for seven to eight weeks.

Barcelona have made a superb start to life under new boss Hansi Flick, the former Germany and Bayern Munich tactician who arrived at the Camp Nou this summer, replacing the legendary Xavi.

The Blaugrana have especially sizzled in La Liga, winning their opening seven games before losing 4-2 at Osasuna. However, they swiftly returned to winning ways with a 3-0 win at Alaves just before the October international break to go three points clear at the top.

In the UEFA Champions, Flick's side were upset 2-1 at Monaco but thumped BSC Young Boys 5-0 at home in their next outing. They next take on Sevilla away in the league on Sunday (October 20).

Three days later, they host Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League before travelling to holders Real Madrid in La Liga for the season's first El Clasico on October 26.
