Chelsea are reportedly prepared to initiate contacts with Ligue 1 giants PSG over a move for striker Randal Kolo Muani, who has also been linked with Manchester United. The Frenchman is the latest name to appear on the Blues' radar after a dismal first half of the season at the Parc des Princes.

A report from journalist Santi Aouna says that the Blues are willing to take advantage of Kolo Muani's struggles in Paris and will make a move to sign him. The 26-year-old is likely to leave the club in the January transfer window after failing to impress manager Luis Enrique.

PSG paid €90 million to Eintracht Frankfurt for Kolo Muani in the summer of 2023, a year before Kylian Mbappe would leave the club. Kolo Muani was supposed to be the attacking talisman after Mbappe but has failed to live up to his price tag.

Enrique has lost trust in Kolo Muani, handing him just two starts in the first half of the ongoing season. The striker has made only 14 appearances overall, playing 453 minutes across competitions. He has managed two goals and an assist, all in the league.

The Blues are aware of Kolo Muani's situation in Paris and are prepared to sign him to bolster their attack. With the striker set to be available on loan with an option to buy, the Blues could sign him for a significantly lower fee than PSG had paid for his services.

Manchester United and Arsenal have also been linked with the versatile striker، but recent reports indicate that Enzo Maresca's side are the most keen on him. He would provide competition for Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku، potentially freeing up Marc Guiu to head out on loan.

Harvey Vale reportedly set for permanent Chelsea exit in January

Chelsea youngster Harvey Vale is set to complete a permanent move away in January, as per transfer guru Fabrizio Romano. The versatile midfielder is attracting interest from the Championship and outside England after impressing with the Blues' U-21s.

Vale made his Chelsea debut in 2021 and was named the club's Academy Player of the Year for 2022. The 21-year-old turned down a move to Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Ettifaq in the summer, preferring to spend half the season at his boyhood club.

With six months left in his contract at Chelsea, Vale is now prepared to move elsewhere and play regular senior football. He has been called upon twice by Maresca this season, making two appearances, both in the UEFA Europa Conference League, this season.
