"He's sick in jail, he's eating MDC slop"— Tony Yayo claims Feds are making an example out of Diddy

Rapper Tony Yayo, whose real name is Marvin Bernard, recently sat down with VLADTV and spoke about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing legal troubles. In the video uploaded on November 6, he claimed that the feds were out making examples of celebrities such as the Bad Boy Records founder, bringing him down from his lavish lifestyle into a difficult jail situation.

“There’s no f**king around with the feds, bro. When they come for you… they coming for you, bro,” the 46-year-old rapper shared. “Some moth*****ker who’s a real street n**ga like me, that could maybe do a bid. But some… that ate a little too much… too much caviar and pancakes, like Diddy. Yes, he’s sick in jail, he’s eating MDC slop. And that’s how the feds play.”

Tony Yayo further mentioned how everything in Diddy’s case was “exemplified,” such as a $50 million bond, as he was not a “regular” guy but a high-profile individual with money and influence, among other things.

During his conversation with DJ Vlad, Tony Yayo said that the “f**ked up thing about being an artist” like Combs is that all restrictions were harder on him more than any random inmate.

“You can have you all the money in the world, all the b**ches, all the cars, but when the feds come, you ain’t s**t. You a number like the moth****cker next to you,” Yayo shared.

Tony explained how going from being a “billionaire” to eating MDC slops for all meals every day could be detrimental to anybody in Diddy’s situation. Yayo claimed that Combs was not mentally “ready” for it, nor was he “built for this s**t.”

The rapper shared how someone like Diddy, “nine times out of ten,” would either “tell” on his alleged accomplices or was thinking about what to do himself or others to get out of their legal troubles.

“Just so much is going on in your mind, because you’re sitting and you have time… Just imagine your bathroom being in your bedroom, [everything] is locked down… Imagine you going from your nice mansions and condos to your bathroom in your f**king bedroom. Yes, that’s what the feds would f**king do to your life,” Tony added about Diddy’s situation.

Yayo wrapped up by saying:

“That just goes to show how the feds will make an example out of anybody, me, you, the person next door, they don’t give a f**k… it’s different than the state… I wish him luck, but with the feds, there is no luck.”

Elsewhere, Tony Yayo talked about New York City mayor Eric Adams being investigated by the feds and his alleged friendship with Diddy. He even claimed that it was Adams who gave the Love Album hitmaker the key to the city.

Reports allege Diddy is not eating prison food out of fear of being poisoned

Last month, Combs' lead attorney Marc Agnifilo told reporters how the “roughest part” about “staying in jail” for his client was the food. Before that, reports also alleged that the hip-hop mogul was not eating prison food for fear of being poisoned or was apparently on a hunger strike.

On November 4, Diddy spent his 55th birthday behind bars. New York Post obtained the Federal Bureau of Prisons' national menu and shared that the rapper reportedly had the usual combination of cereal, fruits, and breakfast cake as his first meal.

For the 11 am lunch, he was allegedly given pasta in marinara sauce, meatballs, and garden salad. As for the 4 pm dinner, he seemingly had chicken/tofu rice with black beans and carrots.

Sean Combs was arrested on September 16 from NYC after a grand jury indictment. He is currently facing charges of racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center, Brooklyn, awaiting trial on May 5, 2025. He has so far pled not guilty to all charges but was denied bail multiple times on the risk of witness intimidation/tampering. If convicted, he is looking at 15 years to life in federal prison.
