Kanye West, also known as Ye, recently took to social media to praise his daughter, North West, for inspiring him to love music again. The rapper shared a heartwarming post about his 11-year-old daughter on Instagram, adding that he was working on the beats for his upcoming album, Bully, as well as for North's debut album, Elementary School Dropout.

Ye's Instagram post about North, posted on January 20, 2025, received over 1 million likes at the time of this article.

"This little girl made me love music again She asked me to make beats for her I got back on the ASR Chopped up beats for her album and chopped every beats with my bare hand for BULLY," the post's caption read.

Kanye West shared two more videos of his daughter in the studio

On January 20, Kanye West uploaded two more videos of his daughter, North West, for his 20.4 million Instagram followers. The duo seemed to be recording in the studio, with the videos featuring West's longtime collaborator Tony Williams.

In one video, North and Williams are seen walking towards what appears to be a recording setup. In the second video, they seemed to be listening to a recording, with Kanye instructing Williams to play it again. North is seen standing in front of a keyboard with her back facing the camera. The videos were captioned "Training" and "TRAINING 2.0."

In March 2024, North West announced her debut album, Elementary School Dropout, during a Vultures 1 listening party. The album's name seemingly paid tribute to her father's debut 2004 album, The College Dropout. It is unclear when North's debut album will be released.

North also featured in the track TALKING in Vultures 1 and appeared in the song's music video. For the unversed, Vultures 1 is the first part of a collaborative trilogy series between Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign under the moniker ¥$.


In other news, Kanye West is also working on his new solo album titled Bully. The rapper first announced the album during a September 2024 Vultures 2 listening party in China. He also debuted a track from the upcoming album titled Beauty and the Beast for the first time. Bully will be Ye's first solo project following his 2021 album, Donda.

Ye has yet to announce the release date for the new album. Vultures 3, the final part of his collaborative series with Ty Dolla $ign, has also yet to be released at the time of this article.
