Rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs recently shared his first Instagram post since his arrest last month. On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, the music mogul shared a birthday post dedicated to his 2-year-old daughter, Love Combs, from prison, writing:

"Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday baby Love! Happy Birthday to you!! Happy Birthday @loveseancombs daddy loves you."

The post contained a series of pictures of the two-year-old, including one of Combs and Love at the beach.

Combs announced the arrival of his seventh child in a December 2022 IG post (since deleted). Per an October 2024 article by US Weekly, Love's birth certificate confirms her mother is Dana Tran, a cybersecurity professional and model.

Diddy is also a father to Quincy (born to Kim Porter and Al B. Sure!) whom Combs adopted when he was with Porter, Justin, Christian, Chance, and twins D'Lila and Jessie.

6 new accusers filed lawsuits against Diddy, including one who was 16 at the time of complaint

In September, federal officers arrested the rapper on charges of s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Per his unsealed indictment, he allegedly ran a "criminal enterprise" that s*xually abused "women and others" for years by force, coercion, or fear.

This included participating in "elaborate and produced s*x performances" at Combs' parties, which he recorded.

Federal authorities began investigating Diddy for s*x trafficking after several lawsuits alleging r*pe and violence were filed against the rapper. This included ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura's complaint filed in November last year.

The musician initially denied all allegations. In May 2024, CNN released CCTV footage from 2016 showing the rapper dragging and kicking Ventura through a hotel lobby. This corroborated claims made in Ventura's lawsuit.

Combs later shared an apology video on Instagram (since taken down).

In a press conference held earlier this month, Houston-based lawyer Tony Buzbee announced he was representing 120 new victims, of whom he claimed 25 were minors when the assault took place. On Monday, six accusers (first of the 120) filed civil lawsuits against Diddy, alleging r*pe and s*xual assault.

Of the six, one man claimed he was only 16 at the time of complaint. This makes it the first time the rapper has been sued by someone who was a minor (at the time).

Diddy's legal team has denied all accusations levied against him in a written statement shared on Monday, asserting:

"The press conference and 1-800 number that preceded today’s barrage of filings were clear attempts to garner publicity. Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never s*xually assaulted anyone—adult or minor, man or woman."

The 1-800 number refers to the hotline number Buzbee shared during his press conference.

Additionally, the rapper's counsel is blaming the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for leaking Cassie Ventura's 2016 assault video. Per legal documents filed by Diddy's attorney, this was done to "mortally wound" their client's reputation and damage his trial.

They requested that the court suppress the video if there is evidence found that a government agent leaked it, to ensure a "fair trial."

Diddy pleaded not guilty. The rapper is currently being held at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail twice. His trial is set for May 2025.
