Jeweler Maksud Agadjani, aka TraxNYC, responded to 50 Cent's $5 million lawsuit by giving away 50kgs of silver, worth around $50000, in the rapper's neighbourhood in Queens. This came after 50 Cent sued Agadjani for trademark infringement and violating his right of publicity on October 10, after the jeweler posted that he was selling replicas of 50's custom-made cross pendants.

On October 15, Agadjani uploaded a video on Instagram that showed him giving away silver bars to the people of South Jamaica, Queens, the neighborhood where the rapper was born and raised.

Each bar weighed a kilo, with the jeweler giving the silver away by saying "A kilo for 50."

In the video, Agadjani also addressed 50 Cent, saying he didn't need the rapper's image to sell his jewelry. He hoped the two could resolve their issues out of court, trolling the rapper by saying he was not Jesus Christ and therefore he did not own the cross.

“I don’t need your image. Your videos are down. I hope we could call it a day in a respectful manner like two grown men. You’re not Jesus Christ. You don’t own the cross. But that’s neither here nor there … Just trying to resolve this conflict in the spirit of the Lord, bro,” he said.

The jeweler also added 50 Cent had other things to focus on, mentioning his Netflix-produced documentary about his rival Diddy. He concluded the video by hoping the pair could handle the situation respectfully without involving lawyers, ending it with a subtle dig at 50 by saying Diddy was waiting for him.

“You’ve got better things to do. You got Diddy, you got baby oil. You got everything you need, man. What do you need me for? Instead of giving money to lawyers, let’s do the right thing and handle it like men. I know you’re a grown man. I know you can handle yourself. I hope we call it a day. Let's leave it at this. I hope we can keep it respectful. God bless and good luck. Diddy's waiting for you brother” he said.

50 Cent's lawsuit against Maksud Agadjani explored

On October 10, 50 Cent sued the jeweler TraxNYC for trademark infringement after the latter started selling replicas of the rapper's jewelry. According to the court documents obtained by The Wrap, the lawsuit claimed TraxNYC was misleading customers into thinking 50 Cent was associated with the brand by using the rapper's image to promote his jewelry.

“Defendants, who are in the jewelry business, willfully and knowingly created imitations of an original necklace designed exclusively for Jackson; used Jackson’s name, image and other intellectual property rights to mislead consumers into believing Defendants’ reproductions are affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Jackson; and continue to use Jackson’s name, image and other intellectual property rights for commercial gain,” the lawsuit claimed.

Maksud Agadjani first started posting videos of him selling the cross pendant resembling the one owned by 50 Cent in August 2024.

His latest video promoting the pendant, posted to Instagram in October, has since been deleted after the lawsuit was filed.

As the video circulated on social media, 50 Cent took to Instagram to caution him to cease his activity. According to court documents, Agadjani "brazenly" replied to the comment with, "yo don't you got better things to worry about."

Along with the $5 million compensation, 50 Cent also asked that the Agadjani be banned from using or replicating his image and jewelry.

There is no new information regarding the lawsuit at the time of this article.
