4-time champion to help Kevin Owens win at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event? Exploring the chances

WWE Saturday Night's Main Event presents a huge opportunity for Kevin Owens. The Prizefighter has become a little unhinged of late, with the source of his "madness" being Cody Rhodes. Well, come December 14, 2024, he will get the chance to get his hands on The American Nightmare, but he may need some help getting the job done. The help may present itself in the form of a four-time champion.

The four-time champion in question can only be described as "Him", Carmelo Hayes. As a former NXT Champion, two-time North American Champion, and NXT Cruiserweight Champion, Hayes could prove to be a significant ally for Kevin Owens. Additionally, if the events of last week's SmackDown are any indication, he has his own issues to resolve with Cody Rhodes.

Following the intense exchange between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens last week, Cody was spotted backstage, visibly angry. It was at this moment that Carmelo Hayes, exuding his typical bravado, chose to provoke him. This led to a confrontation backstage and a match being scheduled for tonight's SmackDown between the two.

However, assuming he fails, Hayes, who is known for seeking the spotlight, might decide to get his revenge on Rhodes during Saturday Night's Main Event by assisting KO. However, this is purely conjecture, and ultimately, we will have to wait and see how events develop.

Kevin Owens has no qualms about crossing the line with Cody Rhodes

As mentioned earlier, Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes went back and forth last Friday on SmackDown. Their topic of discussion primarily revolved around the horrific and banned piledriver move KO executed on Randy Orton a few weeks ago. The American Nightmare blasted The Prizefighter for his actions, claiming he crossed the line.

Well, to the surprise of many, Owens admitted that he did indeed cross the line. While he did not apologize, he made one thing clear to Rhodes. He crossed the line with The Viper despite the fact that he once "loved" him. But, he claims to "hate" the Undisputed WWE Champion, implying that he has no qualms about crossing the line with him.

One thing is for sure, when KO and Rhodes clash at Saturday Night's Main Event, there will be no holding back. Both men are out for blood, and will not be satisfied until the other is out of the picture.
