Braun Strowman faced the wrath of Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline on the latest edition of WWE SmackDown. The Monster of All Monsters appeared on the show to get back at Carmelo Hayes on Friday night. Little did he know that The Bloodline would attack him while going after Sami Zayn on the show.

Braun Strowman was no match for the villainous faction as the numbers game played its part. He was beaten down by Solo Sikoa and his men with ease.

Check out the five reasons why The Bloodline attacked The Monster of all Monsters on SmackDown.

#5. Braun Strowman is one of the biggest babyfaces without a storyline

Braun Strowman recently moved to WWE SmackDown, as announced by Nick Aldis a few weeks ago. He has already faced Carmelo Hayes a couple of times, but The Monster of all Monsters would be looking for a top feud.

Strowman has returned as a babyface, and WWE needed some babyfaces to face the heels of the brand. This is especially true if Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are set to move to the RAW brand soon.

That could see Gunther move to SmackDown with the World Heavyweight Championship. Therefore, it made sense for Braun Strowman to come across some of the biggest heels on the brand.

#4. Feuding with The Bloodline will put Braun Strowman on the top card

Carrying on from the earlier point, Braun Strowman would look to return to the top card after remaining in the mid-card for a long time. He is a former Universal Champion who has continued to improve in the ring.

WWE fans could finally see Strowman move to the top card by feuding with The Bloodline. Solo Sikoa and his men are the top heels of the brand, and Strowman could give them some tough competition, especially if he builds a team around himself.

With Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes possibly moving from the brand, it makes sense to have someone as experienced as Braun moving to the top card once again.

#3. Sami Zayn will need some help on WWE SmackDown

Sami Zayn appeared on WWE SmackDown to request Nick Aldis to let him solve his problems with The Bloodline. Instead, he got a match against Carmelo Hayes.

Hayes abandoned the match before Braun Strowman showed up. Meanwhile, The Bloodline attacked Sami Zayn to end the contest.

Zayn could move to SmackDown ahead of RAW’s Netflix premiere as many stars would switch brands. He would need some help if he wanted to continue feuding with Solo Sikoa’s men.

Braun Strowman could provide the perfect assistance as he is one of the largest athletes on the roster. Zayn could create a supergroup with Strowman and an established tag team to face The Bloodline and exact some revenge.

#2. The Monster of all Monsters could help put Jacob Fatu on the map

Jacob Fatu has emerged as a dominant force on SmackDown. The Bloodline member has fans behind him, but his bookings haven’t helped him get over.

Jacob’s only singles win in WWE came against Jey Uso. However, he needs to prove himself as a solo performer on SmackDown before moving forward.

A large athlete like Braun Strowman could provide him with the push he needs to get started in his career. WWE could book a marquee match between the two massive stars to help Jacob Fatu get a push.

Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline may lose steam soon after his problems with Roman Reigns are over. Therefore, the members of the faction will look to start proving themselves as solo competitors.

#1. Roman Reigns’ departure from WWE SmackDown could cause big problems for The Bloodline

Roman Reigns has been the biggest worry for Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline in WWE. However, once The OTC leaves the brand, they may be left with little to do.

Reigns and Sikoa will compete in a Tribal Combat on RAW’s Netflix debut. Following the match, Roman Reigns might remain on RAW while Solo Sikoa would return to SmackDown.

In that case, WWE will have to give Sikoa and his men some credible opponents apart from the OG Bloodline members. Strowman will be a good start as the former Universal Champion has been phenomenal throughout his career.

Targeting stars outside the OG Bloodline will be the way forward for Solo Sikoa and his men. Their rivalry with LA Knight, Andrade, and Apollo Crews may not go too far.
