Adam Pearce has a tough job ahead, as tonight's episode of RAW is one of the most important shows in WWE history. It will officially kick off the Netflix era, with lots of huge names appearing.
The Rock, John Cena, and Logan Paul have been announced, while Hulk Hogan and Becky Lynch could also show up. Meanwhile, four huge matches have been confirmed for the show. Pearce will have to focus on the action, as much as the returning star power.
So, with that in mind, here are five huge announcements the RAW General Manager can make on WWE's Netflix debut tonight.
This is pretty straightforward and might even be confirmed before RAW, as has already been reported. Despite rumblings that The Rock's return may close the show, CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins will indeed be the main event of tonight's episode of RAW.
Adam Pearce could leave no doubts by announcing it at the start of the show, as he addresses The Rock coming back. Punk and Rollins deserve the main event spot simply because of how well-built their rivalry has been. It truly feels like a WrestleMania headliner.
With Liv Morgan set to face Rhea Ripley once again, Adam Pearce will want to ensure there aren't any outside shenanigans. As a result, the RAW General Manager may end up banning The Judgment Day from ringside. With the Last Woman Standing stipulation seemingly removed, some spice needs to be added to Ripley and Morgan's third title match.
This would put the focus on the in-ring work, which has been underrated over the entire feud. Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley have good chemistry, but they haven't been able to show it due to Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez getting involved in their matches. So, hopefully, they get to show the world how good they are on RAW's debut on Netflix.
Speaking of The Judgment Day, Adam Pearce can give Finn Balor some news about next week. He still needs to face Damian Priest, after they had cost each other title matches over the past few weeks. So, with that in mind, Pearce would announce the blowoff between Balor and Priest.
And not only that. A stipulation could be enforced, with the loser having to leave RAW. That would raise the stakes in a big way, while ensuring next week's episode remains somewhat important.
Drew McIntyre is set to face Jey Uso tonight, in a match that was announced by Adam Pearce. The Scottish Warrior has not been in the RAW General Manager's good books recently, especially after his sneak attack on The YEET Master last Monday.
Given his goal to take out the entire OG Bloodline, McIntyre might not be satisfied with just beating Main Event Jey. He may want to injure Uso, in an attempt to make a huge statement with the world watching. If the former WWE Champion goes through with it, he may have to face some serious consequences.
Pearce wouldn't be pleased at all if Drew McIntyre injured one of his most popular stars, so he could end up firing the Scotsman for his actions on RAW. This could be a valid explanation for McIntyre's likely move to SmackDown in the WWE Transfer Window.
John Cena will be on tonight's episode of RAW, where he kicks off his Farewell Tour. He is also due to make an announcement. Meanwhile, Adam Pearce can drop a bombshell of his own regarding the 13-time WWE Champion. Citing the Netflix executives, the RAW General Manager could confirm that Cena will be exclusive to the red brand for his entire Farewell Tour.
While that may seem unfortunate for SmackDown and its superstars, this would ensure that Monday Night RAW is must-watch television every week. John Cena's Farewell Tour is one of the biggest things WWE will have going on throughout the year, so it makes sense to keep it on Netflix.
