Roman Reigns might soon see another member of his Anoa'i clan join him in the Bloodline war in WWE. The Original Tribal Chief is currently locked in an OG Bloodline vs. New Bloodline war, where his former Enforcer, Solo Sikoa, has claimed himself to be the Tribal Chief.
At present, Roman Reigns only has The Usos on his side, while Solo Sikoa has Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa in his team. Reigns might see another member of the family, Zilla Fatu, soon join him in this battle ahead of the upcoming Survivor Series: War Games Premium Live Event.
There are many fans with questions on how Zilla Fatu is related to the OTC. Zilla is the first cousin of Roman, once removed, as Reigns belongs to a generation before Fatu. Zilla Fatu shares the same relationship with Reigns which The Usos do. Moreover, he shares a unique relationship with the Stamford-based promotion.
Zilla Fatu is the son of the late WWE Superstar, Edi Fatu, aka Umaga. His father was a great athlete and a renowned wrestler in the company. Unfortunately, Umaga passed away due to a sudden heart attack at the age of 36.
Zilla Fatu currently competes in the Independent circuit, predominantly for Reality of Wrestling, a promotion run by Hall of Famer, Booker T. Off late, Zilla Fatu has dropped some hints, which indicate that his next stop shall be WWE.
On his X account, Zilla Fatu recently shared a cryptic update on WWE's Newest ID program. The company introduced this new program, which will be a platform for independent wrestlers to earn a chance to potentially sign up with the Stamford-based company.
On November 6, the WWE ID account on X shared an update on the upcoming event graphic for Reality of Wrestling on November 10. The caption read, “Someone’s been ID’d… be there this Sunday to find out who ?? #WWEID”
Sharing this post, Fatu made a cryptic post, of an emoji of a pen and paper, leading many to believe that he might be the one to have signed that new deal with the WWE. However, Fatu deleted the post hours later, leaving many to question if he had revealed too much information.
A few days ago, Zilla Fatu spoke up about taking part in The Bloodline storyline. While he didn't say that he has signed any deal to be part of the Stamford-based promotion, he did remark that he might do so, as he would love to be with his family there. He eventually said that it all depended on Triple H regarding how he wanted to make things happen.
"At some point, I will say maybe, because if I go in there, you just never know. I might go against them, and they try to recruit me, and I'm like [you need to pay me]. I would love to be there with my family, but Triple H, the creative team, the whole WWE organization, they have a way to incorporate me. So, whatever they want to incorporate me into the storyline or me doing my own thing, or me and R-Truth, you just never know. Right now, I just can't call it, but I know that I'm destined to be there, though," Fatu said. [H/T - WrestlingInc.]
If Zilla Fatu is coming to WWE, he could easily be part of Roman Reigns' OG Bloodline, and this might happen as early as at the Survivor Series: War Games PLE. Zilla has already commented that Roman Reigns is his Tribal Chief. He said that while he loves Solo Sikoa, Reigns would be his first choice as The Tribal Chief.
"Im'ma keep it 100 - OTC [is my Tribal Chief]. I think what Roman has done for the wrestling community - and not only that, our family - it's hard not to acknowledge what he started. So, he started it. Nothing towards Solo, I love him, but if you ask me my Tribal Chief, it's Roman Reigns," Zilla Fatu said to Apollo. [H/T - WrestlingInc.]
While Hikuleo, another Anoa'i wrestler, is expected to join the Bloodline storyline as part of Solo's Bloodline 2.0, the WWE Universe might see Zilla Fatu join Roman Reigns in this Bloodline war. Let's wait and watch how The Bloodline storyline takes shape in the next few days.
