The WWE Universe hasn't seen Charlotte Flair in over a year. The Queen has been out of action since December 2023 with an injury, but rumor is that her return is imminent. With that in mind, perhaps a comeback at the Royal Rumble 2025 is on the cards. She may even confront a two-time champion at the event.
The two-time champion in question is the newly crowned WWE Women's Champion, Tiffany Stratton. The Buff Barbie, who is also a former NXT Women's Champion, may have her first title defense at the Royal Rumble against none other than the "Queen" she once served, Nia Jax. However, once all is said and done, she could come face-to-face with the real Queen, Charlotte Flair.
Last Friday on SmackDown, Nia Jax lost the WWE Women's Championship after Stratton successfully cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase. Jax will likely demand her rematch clause be acknowledged, and if it is accepted, a bout at the Royal Rumble 2025 is inevitable. However, Tiffany Stratton won't want to give up the title that soon and should come out on top. But, she could be thrown for a complete loop once Charlotte Flair's music hit, and she comes out to confront her.
It would be just like Flair to make her return and immediately go for the champion. What's more, it could even potentially lead to a feud that lasts all the way to WrestleMania 41. But, at the end of the day, this is nothing more than speculation.
Whether she confronts Tiffany Stratton or not, a Charlotte Flair return at the Royal Rumble would be amazing. But, she may not be the only female star who could make her presence felt at the event. There are two top superstars, much like The Queen, who haven't been seen in a while, and the Rumble might be the ideal place for them to make their respective returns.
First is Becky Lynch, who hasn't been seen since her loss to Liv Morgan on the RAW in May 2024. Rumors suggest that she would like to return with a different persona, and Indianapolis could be where she debuts it. And last but certainly not least is Alexa Bliss. The Goddess has been gone longer than even Flair, but she is still very much a part of WWE. To see her return on February 1, 2025, would be spectacular.
That said, like the previous scenario, this is all just conjecture. At this point, there is no telling when either star will return.
