Dominik Mysterio might soon be on his way out of The Judgment Day. The 27-year-old has developed cold feet with one of the faction members, Finn Balor. The two haven't been on the same page of late, and there have been speculations that Dom would quit the heel faction soon.
Dominik Mysterio might also switch brands at the same time and could join a heel group on SmackDown. The group in question is A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller and Austin Theory).
Speculation about Dominik moving over to the blue brand and joining A-Town Down Under has arisen because Grayson Waller recently pitched the idea of Dominik Mysterio joining him and Theory on the Friday Night show rather than being in The Judgment Day, whom he referred to as "emo flops."
During a recent interview with Going Ringside, Grayson Waller said that he's a big fan of Dominik and that they will have a good time working with him.
"Oh, Dominik's a sick lad. I love Dom. You know, if Dom was on SmackDown, I think he'd drop those emo flops [Judgment Day] and come hang out with me and Theory. We'd have a good time," said Waller.
However, there have also been speculations that Dominik will move out of Judgment Day and align with his father, Rey Mysterio, once again to take down Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
While Dominik might turn to his father Rey Mysterio, the WWE Hall of Famer might not bury the hatchet with his son. Dominik betrayed Rey in 2022 by turning heel and joining The Judgment Day. The two also had an encounter at WrestleMania 39, which Rey won.
In a recent interview with Peter Rosenberg, the 619 superstar said that he won't be teaming up with Dom ever again. Rey said that as a father, one would always expect that to happen, but in this case, it would be very hard for him to reconcile with Dom.
“Hopefully one day Dom can see the bright side of being on the Mysterio side and being family overall, but I think that’s gonna be very hard," he said.
The other possibility is that Dominik Mysterio leaves The Judgment Day and pursues his single run by first feuding with Finn Balor and competing for the singles title. Turning babyface would also help Dom in his merch sales and might propel him to become a star like Jey Uso.
It remains to be seen what path Dominik takes.
