A former WWE Universal Champion could help Jey Uso and The OG Bloodline tomorrow on RAW. Tonight, Jey will face Drew McIntyre in singles action. While both iterations of The Bloodline will be on the show, Main Event Jey could get some outside support. That help could come in the form of Braun Strowman.
There could be a situation on WWE RAW where Bloodline 2.0 could interfere in Jey Uso's match. Jimmy Uso and Sami Zayn could come to their teammates aid only to be assaulted by the heels. That's when The Monster of All Monsters could show up and make the save.
Strowman could help The OG Bloodline to take revenge for a recent beatdown. A few weeks ago on SmackDown, Bloodline 2.0 attacked and demolished the former Universal Champion and Sami Zayn. Monday night could finally be the time the powerhouse spoils things for Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline.
Strowman could be the best equalizer for The OG Bloodline. While Sikoa and Tama Tonga can be handled, Jacob Fatu is reckless inside the ring. To take down The Samoan Werewolf, one needs someone like Braun Strowman on their side.
The Monster Among Men is the perfect choice to help the babyfaces on RAW since Roman Reigns will likely be busy preparing for his Tribal Combat match against The Street Champion of the Island.
Recently, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H was a guest on the SI Media podcast. During the chat, he spoke about multiple things, including RAW's runtime, success metrics for the show, and the potential return of a legend.
In regards to runtime, The Game said two and a half hours was the perfect duration for a weekly pro wrestling show. He also added that with WWE programming moving to Netflix in the United States, the runtime of programs would be flexible.
“It’ll be flexible in that I don’t think necessarily the time constraints of network television or cable television apply. That flexibility will allow WWE to deliver content that meets its storytelling goals and Netflix’s business model."
Another topic that came up was what metrics WWE would consider to call its product on Netflix a success. In reply to this, the CCO claimed whatever the streaming platform counted as success would be the company's metric too.
“Success is going to be deemed by what Netflix believes is successful. It’s a different metric because it’s not just live. It’s live. It’s same day, it’s three-day, it’s seven-day, all of that. It’s all important."
Triple H was also asked whether Stephanie McMahon would return to the company in its Netflix era. He replied that his wife was still passionate about the business, but her priority was looking after the family at this point. Hence, fans might have to wait for a while before potentially seeing The Billion Dollar Princess on the company's programming again.
