An insanely crazy stat involving a current WWE Superstar has come out and is being shared on X (FKA Twitter). Former Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn has yet to win a world title but has been given plenty of opportunities by the creative team.

The Underdog from The Underground has been a mainstay in World Wrestling Entertainment for more than a decade at this point. The 40-year-old is one of the most decorated stars in the history of pro wrestling, and fans have nothing but respect and admiration for him. Triple H has done an incredible job so far when it comes to putting the Canadian over as a top star on the main roster.

A new stat has emerged involving the wrestling veteran. The stat was shared on X by a handle named @RhodesKotaEra a few hours ago. Notably, Zayn unsuccessfully challenged Gunther for the World Heavyweight Title on RAW in October 2024.

"Crazy Stat: Sami Zayn has had 44 shots at a world title in the WWE and hasn't won once. That changes in 2025!" the post read.

Sami Zayn's goal was always WWE

Sami Zayn was a top name in the independent scene for years before he made his way to the Stamford-based promotion in 2013.

In an interview with the Post Crescent in 2016, the OG Bloodline member said that he always wanted to end up in WWE.

“I always wanted to end up in WWE, and I think anyone [in sports entertainment] wants to do this at the highest level and that happens to be WWE. So it was always my goal, but I really enjoyed every minute of the independent circuit. It’s not so much about the destination as it is the journey, and in this case, it’s actually a combination of both,” he said. [H/T: Post Crescent]

Zayn has been one of the company's MVPs for quite some time now. His fans would love nothing more than to see him become a world champion on the main roster somewhere down the line before he hangs up his boots for good.
