WWE Superstar Karmen Petrovic has shared an update on her official Twitter/X handle, leaving her fans worried about her well-being. The NXT Superstar recently contracted severe flu and is now seemingly recovering.

Karmen has been a mainstay in WWE for about two years. The 29-year-old star possesses the look and in-ring skills to succeed in the business.

In a new post on her X handle, Karmen Petrovic revealed that she recently had a fever and was having difficulty getting back to her usual self. Check out an excerpt from her post:

"I recently took a little internet hiatus due to not feeling myself at all. I ended up coming down with a really rough flu where I had a fever of 120 & was struggling to get back to my normal self for the past week. I feel like I let a lot of people down by not being able to show up or have the energy I usually carry. but, I learned the hard way that if you don't give yourself and your body some time to rest.. your body will force that rest upon you, and it's usually at the most inconvenient time. I wanted to come on here & express my gratitude for the absolute constant support I've received from everyone, it never goes unnoticed."

Karmen Petrovic's first win in WWE

Petrovic had an incredibly rough start in WWE, losing the first 15 matches she competed in. She eventually won her first match in the promotion, defeating Jaida Parker on the October 17, 2023, edition of NXT.

Petrovic recently picked up a big victory over Nikkita Lyons on NXT TV. Here's hoping she takes ample rest, heals up quickly, and returns stronger than ever to entertain her fans.
