Bill Goldberg's son Gage has appeared alongside the WWE Hall of Famer on television several times since 2016. In an exclusive interview, he revealed how much he appreciated his father's loyal fans.
After his football career ended, Bill Goldberg became WCW's most destructive wrestler between 1997 and 2001. The former World Heavyweight Champion also wrestled full-time for WWE in 2003 and 2004 before returning to the company part-time in 2016.
Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor Bill Apter, Gage made it clear he was grateful for the support everyone shows his father:
"I just wanna say thank you to all of y'all, one hundred percent. My dad, I think he's a great guy. I'm glad y'all think he's a great guy and I'm glad he was someone that y'all could look up to. I'm in the same shoes as y'all. I look up to my dad every day. I think he's amazing." [2:52 – 3:06]

Away from the ring, Bill Goldberg has no problem spending time with the wrestling fans who have enjoyed his work over the last 27 years.
Gage Goldberg is pleased that so many people have been able to experience his father's generosity in person:
"He does so many things for me and I know he tries his best to do everything for y'all too. Sign autographs, take pictures, wherever we're going. I see it first-hand, and I'm just glad a lot of people in this world appreciate him." [3:07 – 3:19]
In 2025, Bill Goldberg is due to compete in a WWE retirement match. The former Universal Champion currently looks set to face Gunther following their confrontation at Bad Blood on October 5.
