Cody Rhodes' feud with the Bloodline carried over to the live circuit as the Undisputed WWE Champion faced Solo Sikoa for four nights straight during the company's tour of the UK. After his victory over the heel faction's leader in Manchester, The American Nightmare delivered a heartfelt promo, mentioning a legendary star.

Cody Rhodes left WWE in 2016 due to issues with his character's direction. After leaving the global juggernaut, The American Nightmare competed around the world, making a name for himself. He also faced Kurt Angle three times in 2016-17 and managed to come out on top in two matches.

After defeating Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage Match at last night's live event in Manchester, Cody Rhodes mentioned why Manchester was very important to him while talking about his match against Kurt Angle.

"Manchester is extremely important to me. I wasn’t sure what would happen when I left WWE back in 2016. Not too far from here in a Silver Blade Arena for WhatCulture Pro Wrestling; you guys filled that tiny little arena up, and it sounded like 80,000 people. I got to wrestle Kurt Angle, and I swear to you, you will never know how important that moment was because it was that moment when the match was over, and you can go back and look at the interview I cut when I was standing in the ring. I knew then and there the same thing I knew now, that I was going to make it,'' he said.

The American Nightmare continued:

"I kept coming back over here and kept trying to visit as much as I could. So you have no idea how proud I am to stand here with the biggest title in the business. The North Star of pro wrestling, your Undisputed WWE Champion." [From 1:10 to 2:39]

This was Cody Rhodes' 15th victory over WWE star Solo Sikoa

Cody Rhodes has managed to get the better of Solo Sikoa in all their meetings so far. The American Nightmare was the first person on the main roster to have a clean victory over The Bloodline leader. Fast forward a year, and he now has 15 singles victories over the SmackDown heel.

The Undisputed WWE Champion's feud with The Bloodline is over for now on TV programming as Rhodes is busy dealing with Kevin Owens, while the heel faction is engaged with Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso.

However, the feud could resume upon The Rock's return if The Final Boss is indeed the secret leader of The Bloodline.
