Jackie Redmond has become an integral part of WWE RAW over the past few months. She was part of the red brand's premiere on Netflix debut earlier this week, as she provided ringside interviews throughout the show.
Following the show, Jackie shared some incredible news on social media. Redmond revealed that she had been awarded the 13th spot in The Hockey News's 100 People with Power and Influence.
Redmond noted that she couldn't believe she made the list, but she has a background in hockey and has made it clear that hockey is her passion beyond the wrestling ring.
Jackie joined WWE in 2021, but before entering the wrestling business, she worked for the NHL and Sportsnet in Canada.
While Redmond has become a well-known face on WWE RAW over the past few years, she has retained her role with the NHL, and much like fellow star Pat McAfee, she is able to juggle several jobs at once.
While McAfee works for ESPN throughout college football season as part of College GameDay, Jackie travels for both WWE and the NHL and has been forced to miss several weekly episodes of RAW because her other job has needed her.
Jackie Redmond is a well-known face in Canada and deserves the spot she has been handed as someone with power and influence. Even though there have been some negative reactions to her being included on the list, Redmond has taken the high road and been able to respond to these online trolls in the best possible way.
