WWE is heading into the Royal Rumble and there have been reports about Ric Flair ahead of the show. Several stars have made their intent clear as the company kicks off the Road to WrestleMania, and now another has confirmed their status.
Bronson Reed suffered a horrible injury during the Survivor Series WarGames match where he dove from the top of the structure onto his opponents. Unfortunately, he landed badly on his legs, and broke his talus bone in half. He had to have it surgically repaired with screws and had fragments taken out as well. During the procedure, he also had to have bone marrow taken from his hip and put in his foot.
He went on to say that he would be gone for quite some time, and thus would not be back for RAW's debut on Netflix or the Royal Rumble, as well as no WrestleMania this year.
Now, he's reiterated himself once again and confirmed that he will not be a part of Royal Rumble this year. With him having spoken of hitting Ric Flair with a Tsunami when he gets a chance, the earlier rumors of Flair apparently appearing at the show this year saw some fans speculating about a potential return and attack. Unfortunately, he had to quash the rumors and said that he would not be able to attack the "old man," although he said that he'd love to.
"I don't know how many times I have to say it. I WILL NOT BE AT THE ROYAL RUMBLE! Yes, I'd love to TSUNAMI the old man."
Reed has not really kept his intentions of wanting to hit Ric Flair with Tsunami a secret. This is something that Flair himself has responded to, saying that Reed could not "Tsunami" him on his best day.
Reed responded by saying that Triple H should "come get" him.
"Papa H better come get his boy."
It remains to be seen if this is an interaction fans want to see in the future between the two stars.
