A 35-year-old female wrestler has announced a break from the squared circle. The name in question, Debbie Keitel, is known for her time on the independent circuit over the past few years.
Keitel, alongside her tag team partner Anita Vaughan, defended the Pro Wrestling EVE Tag Team Championship at the company's Wrestle Queendom 7 event on January 10. The duo lost the title to Harley Hudson and Lucy Sky. After the match, the female wrestler took the mic and announced that she would be stepping away from the company.
In a recent post on X/Twitter, Debbie Keitel addressed the massive announcement, giving fans hope of a return in the future. The wrestler stated that this was not a goodbye while she was stepping away and that fans will see her back in the future.
"It's not goodbye... Just see you later x," wrote Debbie.
Debbie Keitel also faced WWE's Lyra Valkyria in a match recently. Both women squared off on OTT The Dream Before Christmas event, where Valkyria ended up picking the win against the star in an entertaining battle.
While it is still uncertain what the future holds for Keitel in the wrestling industry, another major announcement from the star could answer many questions for fans.
