The Rock has been the talk of the town in WWE as he made a few earth-shaking moves heading into WrestleMania XL. However, Hall of Famer The Great Khali expressed his desire to face The Final Boss in a Punjabi Prison match.

The Punjabi Prison Match was introduced under Vince McMahon's regime, keeping the theme in mind with The Great Khali's culture and heritage. Unfortunately, The Punjabi Playboy couldn't retain his title in the gimmick match when he faced Batista at No Mercy in 2007. However, he's open to doing another match.

In an interview with The Lallantop, the former World Heavyweight Champion expressed his interest in doing a Punjabi Prison match with The Final Boss, who was his favorite wrestler before he joined the company. However, he's aware of the fact that it cannot happen anymore.

"Punjabi Prison match. I would like to do another one with The Rock. It'll be fun. But I'm aware that it cannot happen. He was my favorite wrestler. When I joined the WWE, he had left the promotion. Later, I left, and he returned," Khali said. [Translated from Hindi] [From 01:24:50 to 01:25:15]

The Rock had a short WWE run in 2024

Earlier this year, The Rock returned to WWE and became one of the biggest heels in the promotion as The Final Boss. The 10-time World Champion aligned with The Bloodline to take on Cody Rhodes.

However, Seth Rollins agreed to help his former rival and assisted him in the coming months. This led to a tag team match at WrestleMania XL Night One, which The Bloodline won when Rock pinned Rhodes.

Unfortunately, The Final Boss only had one match inside the ring. However, he was heavily invested in the storyline and he will likely return for another run in 2025. Last month, he made a surprise appearance at WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta.
