Former WCW President and WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff recently spoke about never getting any acknowledgment from Vince McMahon. The veteran worked for WWE after McMahon acquired WCW.

Eric led WCW on an 83-week winning streak against WWE in television ratings. However, McMahon had the last laugh when he eventually won the Monday Night Wars and finally bought out his competition. The next year, Bischoff showed up as the RAW General Manager and worked under Mr. McMahon.

In a recent clip from Wrestling Shoot Interviews, Eric Bischoff mentioned that he never got any validation from McMahon. Bischoff pointed out that he worked for the 79-year-old for years, but the two never spoke about how the Monday Night Wars panned out.

"No, I think not really. It's funny, I worked for Vince. So I was there for 3-4 years and worked creatively as a performer. So from 2002-06, I was there as a talent. There were some times that I wrestled Vince McMahon or something that looked like a wrestling match. There were a lot of things that I did with Vince as a performer." [From 3:53 - 4:15]

Vince McMahon always antagonized Ted Turner

During the same conversation, Eric Bischoff discussed how Vince McMahon always portrayed the Monday Night Wars as a battle between him and Ted Turner.

Bischoff explained that Ted had very little to do with what was going on in WCW. The former company president pointed out that Turner owned the network and had a vision for professional wrestling.

"Other than those phone calls, Ted never had anything to do with the business. Vince wanted to make it look like Ted Turner was just trying to grind him into oblivion. Nothing is further from the truth."

Vince McMahon's life was brilliantly captured in a recent docuseries by Netflix. The show documents the rise and fall of the 79-year-old wrestling promoter.
