It was the talk of the town, and for many, Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul ended exactly how it was supposed to. During this week's Smack Talk episode, Dutch Mantell reviewed the boxing match and felt it might have been rigged, based on a few observations.

The high-profile showdown happened at the packed AT&T Stadium, and the main event was preceded by a pretty entertaining and well-received undercard.

In the eight-round headliner, Jake Paul managed to score a unanimous decision victory over the former heavyweight champion but couldn't deliver a KO to the boxing legend as many would probably have predicted.

Dutch Mantell revealed that he watched a few rounds of the bout, and when asked about whether it was "set up," the former WWE manager agreed with the possibility.

"I did too, I watched the last three and a half rounds because it was buffering and I couldn't watch it. Somebody asked me, 'You think that was set up?' Well, what? Set up? Well, yeah, kind of! (laughs)" [From 28:00 onwards]

Dutch Mantell pointed out one instance during the fight where it legitimately seemed like Jake Paul told Mike Tyson to ease up and reminded the 58-year-old they were fighting for money.

Mantell continued:

"I think Jake Paul pushed him into the ropes, it was almost as if he was saying, 'Do you want to get paid or not?' Then he comes out all okay, I'm doing this for money." [From 30:42 onwards]

Dutch Mantell admitted that it was pretty difficult to actually figure out whether Mike Tyson and Jake Paul's fight was predetermined or a 'work,' as they would say in professional wrestling.

While the reality might never be known, both Tyson and Paul walked away with an enviable bank balance at the end of it all.
