A top star isn't happy with WWE and didn't hesitate to share his frustration on his X/Twitter handle. Xavier Woods isn't thrilled with the promotional graphic of the brand-new Top 10 show announced for Netflix.
World Wrestling Entertainment recently announced several new shows before RAW's debut on Netflix. One of those shows is called "Top 10," and its description says the following:
“Monday Night Raw hosts some of the biggest and best matches in WWE history, featuring Superstars John Cena, Triple H, Becky Lynch and more.”
The promotional graphic for the show features Big E, who hasn't wrestled in ages. It also features a picture of Xavier Woods struggling to escape a hold by Kevin Owens. To make matters worse for The New Day, Kofi Kingston isn't even featured in the graphic. Woods wasn't happy at all with the graphic and felt the company was disrespecting him.
"The disrespect is crazy," he wrote.
The New Day split on RAW a few weeks ago. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston turned on Big E and instantly became the company's most hated stars.
During a special presentation at the Netflix HQ, Triple H opened up about the segment and had the following to say:
“It was like a 10-year moment in time, and the thing I like the most about it, everybody online, and our fans, and people around the world are trying to predict — it’s no different than going to a movie, ‘That guy did it! I know he did it! When we get to the end, I know that guy did it!’ And it blows your mind when it wasn’t him, and it was somebody else. This was one where I didn’t see anybody anywhere calling the direction it was going to go in, and that was sort of the plan for a very long period of time.” [H/T 411Mania]
Woods and Kofi are two of the biggest villains in WWE at the moment. They've been shunned by the locker room, the fans, and even Kofi's mother.
