Stone Cold Steve Austin is one of the biggest names in WWE history. His run at the top helped the company defeat WCW in the Monday Night Wars. The Rattlesnake collided with major names such as The Undertaker, The Rock, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and JBL during his active in-ring career.

Speaking of JBL, the former WWE Champion recalled a segment with Stone Cold Steve Austin that busted him open. Speaking on What Were They Thinking? on Backstage Pass, the Hall of Famer said Austin inadvertently injured him during their beer-drinking segment on Saturday Night's Main Event.

"So, we go to Saturday Night's Main Event and me and Stone Cold are in a beer drinking contest. And so we're both hurt. I forget what it was because Vince had told us we can't do much physicality wise. So, at the end of it, I'm going to throw a beer in Steve's face and he's going to throw a pitcher of beer in my face."

He continued that the pitcher was made of glass and it ended up busting his nose.

"The problem was the pitcher, my beer was plastic glass. His beer was a glass pitcher. So when he threw it, it slipped out of his hand because the beer was everywhere and it hit me in the nose and busted my nose. So, I got blood everywhere. I come back and Vince McMahon goes, 'I told you no physicality. What are you doing out there? Bleeding everywhere!' I said I didn't hit myself. I'm the dart board (laughs)." [From 21:34 onwards]

WWE wanted Stone Cold Steve Austin to appear on RAW's Netflix premiere but the talks between the two parties reportedly fell through.
