Seth Rollins recently pulled out all the stops on WWE RAW in his rivalry with CM Punk. According to a veteran, he should have been threatened with being fired by RAW General Manager Adam Pearce.

In a recent episode of RAW, The Visionary and The Second City Saint engaged in an intense brawl that lasted for quite some time despite officials' attempts to separate them. Later, Adam Pearce caught up with Seth and furiously demanded that he calm down, but to no avail.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long explained how he would have acted in Adam Pearce's shoes.

"Had it been me, when Seth Rollins said I wanna talk to you, then I would have gotten right in his face. I am the GM, I am the boss, so why would I be worried about you doing something to me. If you do something to me, I have the opportunity to fire you." [2:19 onwards]

He further talked about what he would say to Seth if he were in Pearce's position.

"Ya, that's great, but what I am looking for, Seth, is a solution. And he tells me now, well, I have got the solution for you. The solution is me and CM Punk. Now I stop. I am speechless. But he walks, he looks at me once again, CM Punk and Seth Rollins playa. Gimme that." [2:47 onwards]

The WWE Hall of Famer was not happy with the brawl on RAW

According to Teddy Long, the brawl between CM Punk and Seth Rollins on RAW had too many pull aparts.

Speaking on the same episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, the Hall of Famer stated:

"When I see something that could be better, it bothers me. So I am saying I would have liked to see maybe two real strong pull-parts, ok? Now, after you do that, when they go to do that third one, here comes the GM... Adam Pearce comes down, and he puts a foot down and let these two guys know, 'Listen, one more thing and you are suspended, or either you are out or whatever,'" Long said. [1:20 onwards]

As of now, it remains to be seen what is next for Seth and Punk in WWE.
