A popular WWE Superstar recently expressed his desire to become a World Champion amid his absence from television due to injury. The star is out of in-ring action for the foreseeable future.

Bronson Reed aligned himself with Solo Sikoa and his men to fight the OG Bloodline and CM Punk at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. During the match, the Aussie climbed the steel structure and tried to hit a Tsunami on top of Roman Reigns lying on a table. However, Punk pulled the OTC out of harm's way, and Bronson crashed through the table and broke his ankle.

Bronson Reed appeared on Insight with Chris Van Vliet a few months ago. The YouTube star took to his Instagram account today to share a clip of his old conversation with Reed. In the caption, Van Vliet demanded the wrestling promotion to give Bronson the Intercontinental Championship.

"Give Bronson Reed the Intercontinental Title," Van Vliet wrote.

Former WWE manager shares an interesting take on Bronson Reed's devastating injury

Wrestling veteran Jim Cornette questioned Bronson Reed climbing on the top of the cage to deliver his devastating Tsunami.

During one of the editions of his The Jim Cornette Experience, the former WWE manager praised the wrestling promotion for showing X-rays to sell the injuries even more. However, he was unhappy with the 36-year-old taking such a huge risk despite the regular version of the Tsunami being treated as a devastating finisher already.

"The one good thing they did on these [injuries is] they showed the X-rays. They highlighted where the injury took place [...] It's good for the business. [It] makes it look dangerous. It's not good for the talent. But that's the point. They've spent all this time and effort in getting Bronson Reed over. He's a bigger star than he's ever been. They got the splash off the top rope over as death. Why did he need to come off the top of the cage," Cornette said. [3:08 - 3:50]
