Making an emphatic return tonight, Jey Uso saved Sami Zayn from a potential beating on RAW. Heading backstage, the two expressed how happy they were to see each other. The Main Event also shared his concern for the Underdog from the Underground.
At the start of the show, Sami Zayn confronted a clearly irate Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Psychopath once again complained about everything as he kicked off RAW.
This is where Zayn interjected. After a tense conversation, Drew reminded the 40-year-old that he wasn't 100%, and blows began to be exchanged. Unfortunately for Sami, McIntyre got the upper hand and was about to deliver a devastating blow until Jey Uso returned and turned the tide.
As mentioned earlier, the two were seen backstage, where Jey claimed he would deal with Drew McIntyre. Sami Zayn quickly cut him off and requested he be allowed to deal with McIntyre. After some back-and-forth, the Leader of the Yeet Movement conceded but showed concern for Sami, who had struggled since Saturday Night's Main Event.
Sami will head into tonight's main event to pick up a crucial win. But, considering how he is feeling, Jey would do well to be ready to intervene at any point during or after the match.
Jey Uso made something clear to Sami Zayn at the end of their backstage segment. Once the Underdog from the Underground is done with McIntyre, Jey wants him next. After all, he has his own score to settle with The Scottish Warrior.
For those who don't remember, Drew McIntyre caused quite the storm when he returned weeks ago. Not only did he attack Zayn after the latter's grueling match with Seth Rollins, but it was also later revealed that he was responsible for a backstage attack on Jey. An attack that sidelined the former Intercontinental Champion until recently.
All eyes will be on tonight's main event. Regardless of who wins, be it Sami or Drew, this war between McIntyre and the OG Bloodline has just begun. It will be interesting to see how it all comes to an end.
