John Cena has accurately been described by many as half man-half machine. This is due to his work ethic and the ability to balance his wrestling career, Hollywood career, and media appearances. His father gave a surprising response when asked about how his son does it.

Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter interviewed John Cena Sr. soon after the RAW on Netflix Premiere to gain some insight about his son's retirement run and what he thinks about the possible final WrestleMania match he has in Las Vegas.

Cena's father surprisingly admitted that he has no idea how his son operates the way he does. He admitted to seeing him work on even one-and-a-half hours of sleep:

"I don't know the answer. I know that I'm non-stop. I just keep going. I don't know how he does it. I remember him working on one-and-a-half hours sleep. He keeps moving, keeps going back and forth, and does what he needs to do." (2:19-2:39)

John Cena revealed what his post-retirement role will be in WWE

We may not see John Cena (no pun intended) much in WWE after 2025. Whether it's going to be something like 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin where he appears once every few years, or whether he'll make semi-frequent media appearances, fans are going to miss him on their screens.

On the post-RAW on Netflix premiere press conference, Cena confirmed that he will be an ambassador for WWE, but won't be competing:

"You will see me in an ambassador role in WWE, but I will not wear this (points to his T-shirt)."

It wouldn't be surprising to see Cena completely amp up his Hollywood career post-2025. If you look at his acting credentials since 2015, he has gradually taken on more roles but is still limited with the amount he can take up in a year. This could change in a big way in 2026, with Cena possibly becoming one of the busiest actors in Hollywood.
