Bobby Lashley is gone from WWE, but he was involved in a high-profile feud with Karrion Kross earlier this year. The former NXT Champion recently revealed that there were originally plans for more extreme and brutal spots in their match at WrestleMania XL, but they were ultimately scrapped.

At this year's Showcase of the Immortals, The Final Testament's Kross and The Authors of Pain (Rezar & Akam) collided with The Pride's Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) in a Philadelphia Street Fight. The Six-Man Tag Team Match also featured WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley as the Special Guest Referee. The bout saw The Pride faction defeat The Final Testament, ending their rivalry.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, The Herald Of Doomsday revealed that The All Mighty wanted him to Power Bomb him through a table at WrestleMania, but he declined due to the risk involved. Karrion Kross also stated that he was willing to go even further, suggesting thumbtacks and barbed wire for the spot. However, in retrospect, the former two-time WWE NXT Champion believed it was a good decision not to pursue such risky stunts.

"Him [Lashley] and I were every single week trying to make this as insane as humanly possible. I'm glad I didn't in retrospect [but] he wanted me to Power Bomb him out of the ring and through a table at Mania. He wanted me to give him a running Power Bomb out of the ring through [a table] he was ready to put his neck and everything on the line. I was like, ready to do thumbtacks. I said, if they let me set a table on fire, like we're ready to do barbed wire, we're ready to do all kinds of crazy stuff. And maybe it is a good idea that we didn't do it," Kross said. [H/T: CVV]

Karrion Kross comments on his alleged heat with former WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley

Since The All Mighty and The Doom Walker went to great lengths to push each other to perform better during their program on WWE TV, fans believed the two men had real-life animosity between them. However, that's not the case.

During the same interview with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, Karrion Kross cleared that air stating he had zero heat with Bobby Lashley. The Final Testament leader claimed it was an honor for him to work with the former WWE Champion.

"I hate that I'm saying this. But zero [heat]; it was a work. He [Bobby Lashley] knows I feel this way about him. It's not the first time I'm saying it. And unless you would have asked me about this, I would have never said it. I love that dude to death," he said.

Currently, The Herald of Doomsday is involved in a program with The Miz and has also apparently become a target for The Wyatt Sicks. Meanwhile, following his departure from WWE, The All Might has reportedly signed with Tony Khan's AEW but has yet to make his debut in the company.
