WWE Superstars are public figures, and it's challenging for individuals with such fame to keep their lives personal. Recently, two-time NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez revealed her new relationship during Christmas celebrations.
Roxanne Perez has been the face of the women's division on the developmental brand under Shawn Michaels' creative leadership. Earlier this year, she turned heel and captured the NXT Women's Championship for the second time from Lyra Valkyria.
However, she recently gave a personal update on Instagram when she uploaded pictures of her family as they celebrated Christmas. The 23-year-old WWE star revealed her new boyfriend, Drake Morreaux. The two were cozy in one of her posts, indicating her previous relationship had ended. Check it out:
"tis the season 🎄," Perez wrote.
Drake Morreaux is also signed with the Stamford-based promotion and often performed at NXT Level Up before the show ended.
Roxanne Perez has her hands full heading into 2025 following her stellar run as the NXT Women's Champion, which started in April 2024. The Prodigy is set to defend her title against Guilia, but a WWE Women's Grand Slam Champion wants to face Perez at The Grandest Stage of Them All.
In an interview with Going Ringside, Bayley was asked about her dream opponent for WrestleMania 41. While The Role Model stated she got her dream moment at The Showcase of the Immortals, she would like to have another one with Roxanne Perez.
"I would like to probably work with someone from NXT if I can. I would have to go with Roxanne [Perez] because she's killing it as the NXT Women's Champion. She's so smooth, and I'm selfish like I know everybody wants to work with her. I'm selfish, and I want to get her first 'Mania match. I think that would be really special, and we're really tight friends. So, I would love that," Bayley said. (From 08:25 onwards)
The two have met and competed against each other in the past on WWE SmackDown. However, it'll be interesting to see the outcome this time around at WrestleMania.
