The war between The OG Bloodline and The New Bloodline is set to culminate at WWE Survivor Series in the Men's WarGames Match. Meanwhile, wrestling veteran Greg Gagne shared that he was surprised by the addition of CM Punk to Roman Reigns' team.
Solo Sikoa recruited Bronson Reed to his team on the November 15, 2024, edition of SmackDown. Tama Tonga, Jacob Fatu, Tonga Loa, Sikoa, and Reed stood tall over The Usos, Sami Zayn, and The OTC that night.
Since the babyface team had one member short for the Men's WarGames Match, Paul Heyman returned to last week's episode of the blue brand. The WWE Hall of Famer revealed CM Punk as the fifth man for Reigns' team. The OG Bloodline then had the last laugh on the Sikoa-led group.
Speaking on the Straight Talk with The Boss podcast, Greg Gagne stated that he anticipated The Wiseman's return into the mix. However, the wrestling veteran was surprised by Heyman's decision to involve The Second City Saint in The Bloodline saga.
"That one caught me by surprise. Heyman coming back; I figured he was going to come back and I thought he'd bring the guy in. But, I didn't think it would be CM Punk. That was a surprise (...) The people erupted though, so it was a good choice," Gagne said. [From 25:42 to 26:01]

Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and Jimmy Uso will collide with Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Bronson Reed, and Tonga Loa inside the double-caged steel structure on November 30, 2024. Greg Gagne has now predicted the outcome of the highly-anticipated match.
During the same interaction on the Straight Talk with The Boss podcast, the wrestling veteran claimed it would be better for business if The New Bloodline emerged victorious over The OG Bloodline at the upcoming WWE PLE.
"Normally, I would say it has to go to the Roman crew, but that's the obvious thing for me. So, it would be probably [sic] better for business if the other group came out of it—Bronson Reed and that whole crew," Gagne added.
The WWE Universe will have to wait and see which side of the Anoa'i family takes home the win at Survivor Series: WarGames in Vancouver, Canada.
