A popular WWE Superstar has expressed his desire to get inside the squared circle with Bianca Belair in the coming future. The idea was pitched by none other than The EST's husband Montez Ford himself, saying the two could steal the show.
The 35-year-old star is one of the biggest names in the company's women's division and her in-ring skills combined with natural charisma have made her a legitimate main-eventer. On the other hand, Bianca's husband, Ford, is ranked among the promotion's most promising stars, whom fans have wished to see pushed to the next level.
The power couple regularly hits the headlines with their appearances outside WWE as well. In a recent chat with Peter Rosenberg, Montez Ford spoke about a potential intergender match against his wife in the Stamford-based promotion.
Ford stated that he and Bianca Belair could bring the house down if they were pitted against each other on RAW's Netflix debut on January 6, 2025.
"I’m going to mix it up. I’m gonna do some intergender—love it! I say, uh, Montez Ford versus Bianca Belair. The greatest athlete from the men versus the greatest athlete from the women. We’ve talked about it so many times. How much fun would that be?" Montez Ford said. [H/T Ringside News]
It remains to be seen whether Ford and Belair go one-on-one in an intergender match in the future.
In his recent appearance on The Five Count podcast, Montez Ford spoke about how much easier WWE's taxing schedule had become with Bianca Belair on his side on the road. The SmackDown Superstar added that he was relieved to have The EST around as she understood him and kept him on his toes all the time.
"It kind of helps and assists a lot too, and it keeps guys out of trouble. You got your lady on the road with you; nine times out of ten, you're more inclined to not go out there and get yourself in trouble. So, it helps in so many aspects. It's the best—you have someone that understands not just the business but the peaks and valleys of it too. It helps out a lot, man. It's a huge factor when it comes to being in a field like this as well. I love it, man. Now, being in it, I couldn't imagine it any other way," Montez Ford said.
Considering Ford has all that it takes to be a massive name in WWE, only time will tell when or if the Stamford-based promotion pulls the trigger and pushes him to the next level.
