Massive WWE Superstar will destroy Cody Rhodes after potential match vs. Kevin Owens, says analyst
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is currently feuding with Kevin Owens on SmackDown. A WWE analyst recently predicted that another top superstar will take out The American Nightmare after the latter wins a potential match against The Prizefighter.
On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, analyst Sam Roberts discussed the storyline involving Rhodes, Owens, and Randy Orton on the blue brand. After KO attacked The American Nightmare at Bad Blood, Orton tried to fix the relationship between his two friends on SmackDown. However, he got jumped by The Prizefighter backstage.
The 41-year-old claimed the heated rivalry between Rhodes and Owens is a stepping stone for Orton's "inevitable" turn on the Undisputed WWE Champion. The RAW Talk host predicted that The Viper would take out his former Legacy teammate after the latter defeats KO in an expected square-off, launching the anticipated rivalry between The American Nightmare and The Apex Predator:
"Randy Orton is gonna let Kevin Owens do whatever Kevin Owens needs to do to get this hurt out of his system. But just know that as soon as that's done, Randy Orton's gonna be there with the three most dangerous letters in all of professional wrestling, ready to strike whoever is the WWE Champion, be it Kevin Owens or Cody Rhodes. It'll probably be Cody Rhodes, and he will eat an RKO quickly because this has all all all, as much as it looks like, this has all been a build to Kevin Owens just simply creating the runway for the Cody Rhodes-Randy Orton story," he said. Kevin Owens will cost Cody Rhodes the WWE Crown Jewel Championship
On November 2, Cody Rhodes will square off against the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther for the Crown Jewel Title in Saudi Arabia. Following Kevin Owens' attack on The American Nightmare after Bad Blood, Sam Roberts predicted that The Prizefighter would interfere to cost Rhodes his match against The Ring General.
The 41-year-old pointed out that the interference would lead to a clash between the Undisputed WWE Champion and Owens at Survivor Series:
"So, for sure Gunther's winning that big giant title. Kevin Owens is going interfere, and then yeah, that leads us to KO vs. Cody at Survivor Series," he said.
Hall of Famer Bully Ray recently suggested the same scenario on the Busted Open podcast. It would be interesting to see if it will indeed happen.
