Jey Uso became a bona fide WWE Superstar on his own when he left The Bloodline and Jimmy Uso. Recently, Main Event Jey received praise from Bron Breakker as the rising star broke character for his former rival.

Last month, Bron Breakker turned on Jey Uso and eventually recaptured the Intercontinental Championship from him. This allowed Jey to reunite with Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns to take on Solo Sikoa's Bloodline on Friday Night SmackDown.

In an interview on Ringside Fest 2024, two-time NXT Champion, two-time Intercontinental Champion, and former NXT Tag Team Champion reflected on his main roster journey. During this, he broke character to praise Main Event Jey, as he enjoyed working with the veteran.

"I mean, it's great. I'm really enjoying it, man. We've wrestled all over the place. I did a tour in the UK. It's been really fun, man. I've enjoyed it. It comes with great responsibility though, and I think it's going to be a great opportunity for me to go on a nice run and have some character development here and work with some great names and superstars. Obviously, working with Jey [Uso] was great," Breakker said. [From 26:15 to 27:04]

Bron Breakker and Jey Uso have a win over each other on WWE RAW

Earlier this year, Bron Breakker reached new heights in the Stamford-based promotion when he was called up to Monday Night RAW. The rising star quickly captured the Intercontinental Championship from Sami Zayn at WWE SummerSlam 2024.

Later, he crossed paths with Jey Uso, who sought to make a name for himself as a singles competitor in WWE away from The Bloodline. In the coming weeks, Main Event Jey won the Intercontinental Championship from the second-generation star.

Before the title rematch, Bron Breakker turned heel and went back to his old destructive ways. During their rematch, Solo Sikoa's Bloodline caused a distraction, which allowed Braekker to regain the title for a second time on WWE RAW.

The five-time champion is currently a tweener, and Main Event Jey is back with the old gang to take on Solo Sikoa's faction at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.
