Solo Sikoa's version of The Bloodline attacked the 59-year-old on the June 28 episode of WWE SmackDown and Powerbombed the legend through the announcer's table. Heyman then went on hiatus for several months before his surprising return last Friday night.

Former WWE writer claims he is sick of Paul Heyman

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently claimed that he was tired of Paul Heyman following the latter's return to WWE television.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the veteran claimed that Heyman's promos had become repetitive. He suggested that the 59-year-old had been doing the same shtick for too long, and he was bored of it.

"I'm not a fan of Paul Heyman. Put that aside. The guy has been doing 'Ladies and gentlemen' forever. It's old to me. I could not imagine [...] this is the equivalent of Stone Cold coming out in 2024 and saying 'I'm going to whoop you because Stone Cold says so'. Heyman has been doing the same shtick forever. We've talked about the Pavlovian dogs. Heyman is going to come out and say 'Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman' and we're all going to roar. I'm tired, I'm bored with it," he said [11:06 - 12:00]

Roman Reigns attempted to contact Heyman on SmackDown earlier this month, but the latter's number was out of service when called. It will be interesting to see if the Wiseman gets involved in the Men's WarGames Match tomorrow night at WWE Survivor Series.
