Tiffany Stratton seems to be closing out 2024 without cashing in her WWE Money in the Bank contract on a major title. She came close to using the briefcase until Candice LeRae ruined her momentum this week on SmackDown.

Speaking on a recent edition of BroDown on Backstage Pass, Vince Russo slammed WWE for dragging Tiffany Stratton's Money in the Bank cash-in to the point where fans could possibly lose interest.

"The more and more and more you tease this going to be when it happens because people will lose interest it's. It's been going on for too long." [From 16:50 onwards]

Elsewhere on the podcast, Russo provided his criticism of the tension brewing up between Tiffany and Candice. The wrestling veteran felt Candice getting in Tiffany's face was causing the latter to look weak in terms of character.

"It kills her character and you know you when you look at her, she can do some damage. She's but but but when she's, you know, letting this little 100lbs LeRae run that that's what I'm talking about, bro." [From 17:54 onwards]

The briefcase angle saw Tiffany tease a cash-in on Nia Jax only for Candice LeRae to snatch the briefcase from her. The distraction allowed Naomi to plant Candice with her finisher, picking up the win for her team comprising Bayley and Bianca Belair.

Will Tiffany Stratton cash in on a major title in 2025? We'll have to wait and see. While you're at it, head over to Backstage Pass to get the complete BroDown podcast.
