Reason why police did not get involved after major WWE Superstar was kidnapped revealed by Rob Fee

A top WWE Superstar was kidnapped a few weeks ago after an episode of Monday Night RAW. Director of Character Development Rob Fee recently explained why the company did not contact authorities after the incident.

The Wyatt Sicks feuded with The Final Testament and The Miz for several weeks on the red brand. In a vignette after an episode of RAW last month, Uncle Howdy's faction was seen abducting the two-time Grand Slam Champion. The 44-year-old was later seen tied up in footage aired on the following episode. Nevertheless, the group later released The Awesome One, who went on to team with Karrion Kross and AOP to defeat Howdy and his sinister friends in an Eight-Man Tag Team match.

As some wondered why authorities were not contacted in the storyline when The Miz was abducted, Fee explained the logic behind the decision in an interview with Dead Meat. He claimed the company would have taken that step if the former WWE Champion could not talk himself out of the situation:

"When Miz got kidnapped by these guys, they let him go. He, you know, talked his way out of it and that's why the police weren't called. Otherwise, the authorities would have gotten involved. I mean we try to make sure everything has an explanation and is grounded," he said. [From 35:42 to 35:59]

WWE legend thinks fans lost interest in The Wyatt Sicks

Speaking on the Busted Open podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray discussed The Wyatt Sicks' booking. He pointed out that fans were interested in the group when they debuted.

However, the wrestling legend claimed fans no longer care about Bo Dallas and his faction:

"When they first started off with the vignettes and they talked about the individuals and how they felt left behind, and their personal struggles, wow, you were really into them, especially Bo Dallas," Ray said. "But now? It just seems like they're a bunch of [...] just a group that's out there that yes when the lights go out and you hear the music, people go 'Whoa!' Because most people are seeing them for the first time. Like, last night, they were in Grand Rapids [...] I'm sure that was the first time that Grand Rapids got The Wyatt Sicks," he said.

The Miz is set to square off with Dexter Lumis next Monday on RAW. It would be interesting to see how this storyline will end.
