A recent WWE RAW segment has caught the attention of fans and critics alike. According to a particular veteran, this was one of the best moments in recent history.

The segment being talked about is Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston's confrontation backstage on RAW. The two men were not on the best of terms, considering they had just lost a match against the Alpha Academy. Tensions rose as Kofi and Xavier seemed to almost come to blows, hurling insults at each other. According to legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter, the segment almost seemed like a shoot.

While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted podcast, Apter stated:

"One of the things that I saw on there, kind of reeked of shoot to me. Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, face-to-face in one of the best promos. I am not even gonna call it a promo. It seemed so real. It seemed like Xavier Woods was shooting on Kofi. The heat that emanated from him was just amazing, and the way Kofi was reacting. I am sure this is a lead-in to the 10th anniversary of The New Day next week." [3:17 - 4:00]

The 79-year-old veteran further added that WWE Superstar Big E, who has been absent for a long time, may return to the Stamford-based promotion to get involved in The New Day's ongoing storyline:

"And I assume Big E will be in there, but I think things are gonna implode and it's gonna be like decorations taken down and, I think Xavier Woods is gonna come out as a heel in this whole scenario." [4:01 - 4:17]

As of now, it remains to be seen how WWE books this storyline going forward.
