Rhea Ripley sends a message with Buddy Murphy ahead of WWE Survivor Series

WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley recently took to social media to send a message with her husband and AEW star Buddy Matthews. The 36-year-old was previously known as Buddy Murphy in the Stamford-based promotion.

Buddy Matthews wrestled in World Wrestling Entertainment between 2013 and 2021. During his stint in WWE, he made a massive name for himself by winning several titles, including the Cruiserweight Championship and the RAW and NXT Tag Team Championships. Murphy has been performing in the Tony Khan-led promotion since 2022 and has already won the AEW World Trios Championship once.

Meanwhile, his wife, Rhea Ripley, has been tearing it up in WWE and has become one of the company's biggest faces in recent years. The Eradicator recently took to Instagram to post a series of photos alongside the former Buddy Murphy.

Mami sent a wholesome message in her post's caption, seemingly writing that she was thankful and blessed to have Matthews in her life.

"Thankful. Grateful. Blessed. 💖," she wrote.

WWE star Rhea Ripley's team is all set to face Liv Morgan's side at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024

Following WrestleMania XL, Rhea Ripley had to vacate the Women's World Championship after getting injured by Liv Morgan. Since then, the arch-rivals have been in a heated feud.

The Judgment Day star took things to the next level on an episode of NXT last month. She brutally attacked The Eradicator with baseball bats, leaving her injured once again.

However, after being on the shelf for a few days, Rhea Ripley made her electrifying return to television on the November 18, 2024 episode of RAW. The Nightmare revealed herself as the fifth member of Bianca Belair's side for the Women's Survivor Series: WarGames match.

Ripley's team now includes Bianca Belair, IYO SKY, Bayley, and Naomi. Meanwhile, Liv Morgan has Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae by her side for WarGames.

It will be interesting to see which team will come out on top at the upcoming premium live event.
