A 35-year-old WWE Superstar recently got a step closer to permanently having her name written in the company’s records. Following an unexpected victory, Mia Yim sent a message to fans and told them that she wouldn’t fail this time.

Michin faced Piper Niven and Lash Legend in the qualifying match of the WWE Women’s Championship Tournament, and this match was going to be fun. The match was almost in Legend's favor, as she had hit Niven with her powerful finisher, Lash Extension. But the OC member waltzed in from the top rope and stole a win by pinning Niven herself.

Following the win, Byron Saxton approached the victor for an interview. She said that she is ready to become the inaugural Women’s US Champion. She also highlighted that she won’t fumble it, unlike the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

“I will not be missing now I've fumbled my opportunities to become the first-ever women's NXT North American champion This time I will not fumble becoming the first ever Women's US Champion This is not a want but a need I will be the first,” she said.

Michin is highly excited to become the first-ever WWE Women’s United Champion. However, she will need to overcome other participants, namely Chelsea Green, Bayley, and her opponent in the next round, who is yet to be decided. It will be interesting to see if she can become the inaugural champion.
